Porsche AG, of Stuttgart Germany, was just awarded the "Best Automobile in the World" designation in the Cabriolet category for the current Porsche 911 Carrera. 95,000 readers of the German specialist journal "Auto Motor und Sport" voted the open topped Carrera into first place among a field of 49 other cabriolets, roadsters and spiders.
The title of "Best Automobile in the World" follows its winning of the "Autozeitung" Auto Trophy in November in the categories "Best Sports Automobile" and "Best Cabriolet over 30,000 Euro".
I couldn't agree more.
In addition to superb design and engineering, Quality really is job #1 as well. Porsche just two weeks ago took the top spot in J.D. Powers' 2020 Initial Quality Survey, beating out Infiniti, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Lincoln, Ford, Cadillac, etc by significant margins.
